A REVIEW OF ADVANCED BUILDING MATERIAL AND TECHNOLOGY OF ENERGY EFFICIENT BUILDING

This research paper discuss about the need of the advanced building materials in the building for increased energy efficiency. The building industry consumes around 40% of primary energy source and contributes around 20% of total emission. With
rapid urbanization the climatic conditions changes and the total emission is expected to triple up in next 15 yrs. Advancement in materials and with new innovative technology the energy consumption and emission can be controlled. Many such research and innovation fails to meet the criteria of the cost benefit analysis.
